Author’s comments
This is a small species of bird. It was found at an altitude of 1,700 m in Salpa Silichho, Bhojpur district of Nepal. There are two very similar-looking species found in Nepal. The yellow-cheeked tit (Paras spilonotus) is found only in the Far East, and has more black spots on its back. Locals also call this bird the chirping bird
